This is a four-day class covering hardware and software aspects of the MPC834x (MPC8343/47/49E) PowerQUICC II Pro
microcontroller. A customized, shorter version can be arranged for on-site training.
Students will learn to design and write programs for various chip sub-modules. This includes the embedded Power Architecture Core (e300 with MMU and Caches), Programmable Interrupt Controller, Local Bus Controller, PCI interface, Three Speed Ethernet Controllers, DMA controller, DDR2 Controller, Security Module, Reset and configuration of MPC834x. |

To benefit most from the course, students are expected to be familiar with high-end microprocessor architecture. On-site classes can be customized to exclude topics which are not of interest.

Cancellation must be made no later than one week prior to the start date. Otherwise the student will be charged for the class. Substitutions from the same company is allowed.
